July 30, 2009 In Springfield, Illinois, the commoners will get acclimated in the coming week to the idea of the military on the streets. “A Springfield-based military police company will be training with a new armored vehicle in the area this week,” the Associated Press reports. “The Illinois Army National Guard says training with the new Armored Security Vehicles will start Thursday and run through Sunday.” [1]

Be afraid Americans, you’re country is no longer what it seems.

No, they shouldn’t be afraid — they need to let the idea sink in that it is normal for armed troops to be on the streets. After they get used to military vehicles on the roads, they will need to get accustomed to military checkpoints like the ones in Iraq and Afghanistan. [1]

Oh okay, never mind don’t be afraid. This will be become a “normal” part of our upcoming everyday lives.

Nik? Nik Riche? Nah..  okay I’ll bite.

Believe it or not I like to think that I’m well versed in this area of topic, regardless of what you might think. I’ll be the first to remind you that God is the ONLY one who’s judgment will ever really matter. Just so you don’t think I’m totally shallow by this website because that’s very far from the truth. I digress. Let’s go on a Wormwood journey together shall we?

For those of you not in-the-know Nik’s reference to “Wormwood” comes from The Holy Bible in both the Old and New Testaments.

As always Wikipedia does a great job summarizing it..

Although the word wormwood appears several times in the Old Testament, translated from the Hebrew term לענה (la’anah), e.g., Deuteronomy 29:18 and Jeremiah 9:15, its only clear reference as a named entity occurs in the New Testament book of Revelation: “And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8:10, 11 – KJB).

Certain commentators have held that this “great star” represents one of several important figures in political or ecclesiastical history, while other Bible dictionaries and commentaries view the term as a reference to a celestial being. Or maybe it’s an actual “star”.

A Dictionary of The Holy Bible states, “the star called Wormwood seems to denote a mighty prince, or power of the air, the instrument, in its fall, of sore judgments on large numbers of the wicked.” [1]

Okay, so now you’re in-the-know, so what about Wormwood and how does it really affect you?

Without driving TOO much into the Bible’s many books that cover the top of the “End of Days” or the time God comes back to finalize things I’ll just send you to the PROS who have studied the subject for the rest of us to learn from and to warm you that the subject content is very vast, deep, and just like believing in God, a God, or Spirituality, you won’t find any actual FACT. So Nik, to answer your question: YES I believe that a Star called Wormwood will eventually come and will cause the events described in Revelation so I can say that Yes I’m ready. But since you asked a “rhetorical question” you really don’t care. I do hope that you will be able to sleep better tonight knowing that I used MY site “for good” rather than using it to post “junk” that others might find interesting. Who knows maybe my site existed for you to find, post, and for others to see?
